Groupe BPCE is the official partner of the French Olympic team thanks to a 3-year agreement signed on February 1, 2010 by François Pérol, Chairman of the Management Board of BPCE, and Denis Masseglia, Chairman of the French National Olympic & Sporting Committee (CNOSF). Groupe BPCE accompanied the French Olympic team for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics and will be supporting it for the London Olympic Games in 2012. He has also provided his support for Annecy's application as the candidate city for the 2018 Winter games.

The French Olympic team is comprised of several hundred athletes from 30 different sports federations. Every two years, these young high-level sportsmen and women join forces within the same team to share a set of common values at the winter and summer Olympic Games.
CNOSF, at a glance
The French National Olympic & Sporting Committee (CNOSF) promotes the basic principles underlying the Olympic movement and its values in France. It organizes and leads the French delegation to the Olympic games and to competitions held under the aegis of the IOC. It also chooses the French candidate cities for the organization of the Olympics. The members of the CNOSF are the 95 national sports federations and the 175,000 sports clubs all over France.

From February 12 to 28, 2010, 108 French athletes defended the colors of the French National Olympic team at the Vancouver Winter Olympics. They competed in thirteen of the fifteen sports or disciplines: biathlon, bobsled, Nordic combined, curling, ice hockey, luge, figure skating, speed skating, ski jumping, short track speed skating, skeleton, freestyle skiing, Alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, and snowboarding. France was not represented in the ice hockey and bobsled events.

Sailing and the entrepreneurial spirit: a long-standing partnership

Sport and music, for all types of public, everywhere in France
After 6 years of an active partnership with two high profile sports – the world of football (the French soccer cup) and cycling (the Caisse d’Epargne racing team) – the Caisse d’Epargne is now focusing its efforts on supporting sport at a regional level, with a particular emphasis on skiing and running, two “Olympic” sports that are simultaneously sports practiced for pleasure by a majority of French people. With regard to culture, the French savings bank is pursuing its 27-year-old commitment to comic books And he has started music sponsorship.
